Monsters & Enemies
The enemies and monsters you encounter in Wizardry 6 are diverse and extremely deadly. Knowing what each enemy's strengths and weaknesses are is vital for surviving, especially when playing on harder difficulties.
These statistics are for Normal difficulty. Easy and Expert difficulties will alter the HP of enemies, and the number of opponents you will encounter in a group. The Easy difficulty will spawn one less enemy per group, with a minimum of one. The Expert difficulty will cause one extra enemy to spawn, which even duplicates bosses.
This beastiary will be listed in alphabetal order, but the walkthrough will also list the enemies found in each area.
Xorphitus
Xorphitus was the castle wizard until he got his hands on the Cosmic Forge. His wish split him into two, a good and evil half. This foe is evil that was left behind.
Fire and Magic defences are essential! It is also imperative that you defeat him before moving on to the Demons he attacks with. Poison and Acid spells work the best, but a well placed cold or fire spell can quickly turn the tides of this battle. Also, summoning your own fiends can be very useful. Regardless, expect a massive fight.
