Monsters & Enemies
The enemies and monsters you encounter in Wizardry 6 are diverse and extremely deadly. Knowing what each enemy's strengths and weaknesses are is vital for surviving, especially when playing on harder difficulties.
These statistics are for Normal difficulty. Easy and Expert difficulties will alter the HP of enemies, and the number of opponents you will encounter in a group. The Easy difficulty will spawn one less enemy per group, with a minimum of one. The Expert difficulty will cause one extra enemy to spawn, which even duplicates bosses.
This beastiary will be listed in alphabetal order, but the walkthrough will also list the enemies found in each area.
Rotting Corpse
The weakest of the fleshy undead are the Rotting Corpses. These creepy creatures infest the deepest reaches of the castle, likely reanimated trespassers who failed to navigate the Hazard Area.
The Rotting Corpse is weak against the Dispel Undead spell, but casting it may reduce your ability to heal your party. I recommend attacking with fire-based magic, like Fireball, then follow up with Magic Missile. Bardic instruments are rarely useful, so stick with physical attacks and spells.
