Monsters & Enemies
The enemies and monsters you encounter in Wizardry 6 are diverse and extremely deadly. Knowing what each enemy's strengths and weaknesses are is vital for surviving, especially when playing on harder difficulties.
These statistics are for Normal difficulty. Easy and Expert difficulties will alter the HP of enemies, and the number of opponents you will encounter in a group. The Easy difficulty will spawn one less enemy per group, with a minimum of one. The Expert difficulty will cause one extra enemy to spawn, which even duplicates bosses.
This beastiary will be listed in alphabetal order, but the walkthrough will also list the enemies found in each area.
Rabid Rat
Rabid Rats are the deadliest rodents in the Castle Area. Their poisonous bites will surely leave a lasting mark.
These can be deadly due to their large groups and poisonous bites. If encountered at lower levels, their attacks can quickly erode any hope of surviving. Attack with your best damaging spells and attacks before they poison your entire party, especially if you are away from healing fountains or carry enough Cure Poison potions.
