Recommendations:

Chupacabra are weak against fire. Use that against them to save yourself the trouble of hitting them only to have the leach HP from you and undo all your hard work. If you encounter multiple Chupacabra, and have no fire, only target one at a time or you will find yourself hopelessly going no where.

On Hard and Nightmare: These foes can be extremely frustrating once they get into range to drain your HP. A single Fire attack may not be enough to defeat these enemies, especially on Nightmare, so follow up with any other Arts to finish the job, using area attacks if more than one gets into close range.
