Recommendations:

Kurt has a lot of abilities, including Steel, Whitecaps, Renewal, Illusion, Sunset Arts. He also has an S-Craft of Summon Lightning which you don't want to encounter.

He will often stay behind and boost the party and attack from a distance. After a while, he will attack with a ferocity that you may not survive. Keep Earth Wall up and Barrage him after he is hurt a bit.

He should be your second target, but if fighting on Normal, feel free to wipe him out as soon as you can.
