Recommendations:
Killer Crabs aren't too dangerous, while in small numbers, but their hard shell will require a few extra bashes to defeat. What makes then difficult is their ability to call for help, which can quickly turn an easy battle into a blood bath if you're not careful.
On Hard and Nightmare: Since your follower needs to survive, Sylphen Guard is effective when used on the useless oaf, who often walks into the claws of the crabs. Soul Blur is also helpful as it has a chance of faint, which removes the enemy from the fight for a turn or two.
