Temp Librarian is the first in a line of side-quests that has you hunting for lost books for the Central Factory Archives. This mission expires when entering Leiston Fortress during Prof's Whereabouts.

I am seeking an interim librarian with keen investigative skills. Anyone who wishes to apply, please see me in the Archives on 2F.
Please understand, too, that you may be asked to pick up some slack on a few odd and ends before the real work begins.

Walkthrough
Speak to Candace at the Archives on the 2nd floor of the Factory to begin. The start of Temp Librarian is a standard book hunt. She will tell you where books are, but you will need to find their specific whereabouts.
3F: Design Room
on the step latter.
4F: Clinic on a table next to the beds
4F: Lab on a workbench.
She will thank you and take the books from your possession to complete this short quest.
If you forgot to read the books, they can be found on the nearby shelves. I would recommend reading Tomorrow's Cooking to get a free recipe.
