As you are about to head home after completing Training: Retrieval, Aina will rush up to inform you of an urgent matter involving two local children.

Description:

It appears that two children have gone to play at the Esmelas Tower. The tower has become a breeding ground for monsters and is very, very dangerous.

Hurry to the Esmelas Tower and bring back the children before something terrible happens.

1. It seems that Luke and Pat have run off to the Esmelas Tower
2. The tower is to the north of Rolent at the west end of the Malga Trail.
3. Didn't see the boys on the trail, so they must have ventured inside the tower.
4. (Right Choice) Found both boys on the 2nd floor of the tower and, with some teamwork, took care of the monsters!
   (Bad Choice) Found the boys on the 2nd floor but carelessness landed me in a bit of trouble. Luckily, everything turned out all right!
5. Brought the boys back safely.

Once Aina gives you this mission, head to the Malga Trail entrance located at the south-west corner of the City of Rolent. The Malga Trail is split into 3 areas, but only the first 2 will be explored in this quest. The first section is very linear with only a small clearing near the northern exit which contains a Reviving Balm. Flying Felines will be found frequently in this area, with a few Lily Movers scattered around.

The second area of the Trail immediately spits eastward and westward. Take the western path to head to Esmelas Tower. Also, look for the northern clearing on the path for a chest containing a Tear Balm.

Once arriving at Esmelas Tower, the path becomes very linear and guided. When you reach the 2nd Floor, you will be given an option to charge forth or run with Joshua. These types of choices alter the reward you will get for completing the mission. In this case, if you run with Joshua, you will get an extra BP.

The battle with these Flying Felines is a little different from what you are used to thanks to Pat and Luke being part of the fight. Throughout the battle, they will move around the map trying to stay away from the enemies, but these movements can attract the attention of the enemies making them the main target. Kill all the enemies before they kill the children to finish your quest.

Once back in the City of Rolent, report to Aina to compete this quest and get your rewards.
