West Bose Monster is one of the three optional side quests available after you visit Haken Gate during the Missing Airliner storyline. This mission expires at the very end of Chapter 1 when you pass through Krone Pass.

A ferocious monster known as a Thunder Quake has been spotted roving the West Bose Highway.

Bracers from this branch are requested to deal with this threat immediately.

1. Exterminated monster!

This quest is not for low-level parties. Getting to the far side of the West Bose Highway is easy enough, but the fight is another story.

When the Thunder Quake attacks, it hits your entire party, with some debilitating status effects thrown in to make things worse. Since every attack it does deals significant damage to your party, hitting it hard and fast is highly recommended. I would recommend hitting it with earth-based arts and prepare for a near constant use of healing arts or items.

Once defeated, just head back to the guild to report your victory.
