Walkthrough

Once you accept the quest, head south of Ruan and pass through the Aurian Causeway, and onwards to the checkpoint. Enter the fort for a short cutscene, then take the stairs up to the roof. After another short cutscene, you will need to confirm that you are ready to take on such a daunting task.

Of course, you say yes. After losing Joshua to the protesting crowd, you will be presented with several options to diffuse the situation and to get the fool to leave the fort.

If you chose the wrong answers, you will still "pass" the mission automatically, but you will lose out on brace points. The correct answers are:

  • "Greetings, Your Grace. I'm here to collect you."
  • "The mayor's estate."
  • "At this junky old place?"
  • "Your Grace, by your foot..."

The first and second options you can get wrong, but only one, the last two are required to be successful. Others at Air-Letten will respond to you differently, depending on your success.

Once the graceful fool leaves ever so gracefully, return to Ruan for your reward.
