Radford was the main woodcutter in Rolent until his back forced him to retire. Now he looks to his son-in-law, Freemont, to take over the family business. While he didn't care for Freemont at first, he decided to back his daughter and help her husband the best he can.

He currently lives with his daughter, Euridice.
