Freemont is a young man, who is trying to impress his father-in-law, Radford, as he attempts to fill his shoes as the areas primary woodcutter. His wife, Euridice, tries to help, but he feels the pressure is on him to succeed. His house is located is the ground level of the two-flat located near the western gate.
