No, you are not seeing double, there are two of them. Iris Noire (dressed in white), and Iris Blanche (dressed in black) are two parts of the same. Long ago she was split into two due to her incredible loneliness. The programmers either got the names confused or decided to play with our minds with the names as they seem like they should be reversed. They both have the same interests, and after a certain point in the game, spend all their time together.

Twilight fans can rejoice, you can fulfill your desires here. They like their drink Blood Red and you will never catch these two out during the day or anywhere near garlic. For the ones who think that they can get both, sorry, you can only marry one of them.

Noire will be found early in the game at the Tower of Rest on the Whale Island Fin. You need to grow Moondrop Flowers in the patch next to the tower to get her attention. Blanche will only be available when you rescue her in the Snow Ruins. You can only visit them during the evenings or night, and they can't move to town until after the main story is over, which make these two the most difficult girls in the game to marry.
