The wisest person in the village. If there isn't something he doesn't know about runes, he will get the information for you. You will find though that with all his wisdom, he has become very arrogant at times and his jokes are is poor taste. He moves to town on the 7th of Spring and brings his granddaughters Cinnamon and Candy shortly afterwards.

As you progress through the levels he will start asking for various items that are dropped by monsters in the game. As you give him items he will periodically give you various Magic Rods and Sticks. The hardest to obtain is the magic crystal which can only be obtained from Ignises in the Lava Ruins and Glaces in the Snow Ruins.
