Located along the south-eastern rim of Bayjin Lake, the South East Wilderness was once filled with travellers seeking quiet sands and gentle waters, and those fulfilling temple duties. Its soft, sandy beach used to be a place where people would relax in the sun, or hold celebrations in the nearby gazebo.

Towering above the shoreline, the region's central hill is home to an old Higardi temple where a nameless crusader whose deeds have faded from memory still rests. Today, the temple's tranquillity has been shattered. A mysterious woman calling herself the Sorceress Queen has seized the site. She surrounds herself with loyal followers and warps the once-holy refuge into a seat of her rising influence.
