Wizardry 8 Spells: Knock Knock
Knock Knock is a level 3 earth spell in Wizardry 8 that Alchemy and Wizardry spellcasters can use. The spell has two uses. When you cast it on a lock, it lifts and holds the tumblers based on the spell's strength. If all the tumblers are raised, the lock opens. If not, the lock becomes easier to pick for someone with lockpicking skills. When you cast Knock Knock on a trap, it tries to bypass the trap automatically. Whether it works depends on the trap's level and the Power Level you use.
Description:
Magically tries to hold a lock's tumblers in the open position. Number of tumblers affected is relative to the power level. A caster can only sustain one casting of the spell at a time. When cast on a trapped chest, it tries to open the chest and circumvent the trap.
