"Forgotten Momento" Walkthrough

Political Bloodbath
Forgotten Momento starts very differently from previous chapters, with Anna awakening in a dark room. Pick up the matches illuminated by the ray of light, then use the matches to provide a bit more light. Anna's in rough shape, but press on and search the nearby area.

Finding the bandage will trigger a flashback with Max outside the Cantonal Parliament.

Enter the building to find a blood bath. Once in the Hall, search around for clues.
Pass the badge to Max, then investigate the bodies he points to. Flip open the tabs on the briefcase and grab the notebook inside. After the political talk, go back into the corridor and examine the man in blue on the right side. Move the man out of the way to find possible evidence. Give it the NDA Operative, then explore the area closer.
Give Max the Jacket, then examine it closer. Check the pockets to find Car Keys. Then, open the jacket to obtain a passport from the inside pocket.
Return to the street for Max to point out the suspect's car, which is parked just outside the building. Unlock the car and check inside. Examine the weapon from the floor and pick up the letters on the seat. Also, open the glove box and grab the book inside. The name Charles Kistner on the left page catches Anna's eye. Give the letters to the operative, then the notepad.

Re-enter the building and examine the scene in the corridor again.
Pass the passport to Max, then return to the Hall and check through the things there again.
Hand the man in the long coat the cartridge case, then return outside and check the back of the killer's car.
Put the ticking device on the back of the middle vehicle so Anna can try to disarm it in time. To begin, remove the clock face to expose the inner mechanism. Spin the middle area until all the pins are below the inner ring, then spin the ring until the numbers match, then drop the balls into the holes before flipping the switches in the correct order.

One bomb disarmed, but plenty more to go off.
Watch Your Kistner
Anna returns to her dark prison. Check the plate of food the captor has left. Examine the candle, then use the matches to light it. Now we can search the room again.
The paper brings a new flashback with her visit to the Kistner home.

When with Ernestine, examine the window and pull the string on the right downward. Close the window, latch the lock, then pull the string back up. Search through her things for a blanket.
Place the blanket over Ernestine, then walk into the Garage. Check the body, noting the Wrench, his clothes, and the wounds. Investigate the pit area for more clues.
Pass the "spicy" photo to Ulli, then return inside the house to speak with Ernestine again. Look through her things again for any other clues.
Pass the button to Ulli, then open the bureau behind him, opening all three doors. Find the red client book in the lower middle area, receipts near the picture on the top right, and the photo on the lower left side. Give the book to Ulli to check through.
The next day, Sven actually compliments her. Enter Anna's Office and reach for the paper on the desk. Read the paper, leave the office and search the Storage Room for a replacement bandage.
Return to Anna's office. Move her sleeve down, take the scissors from her desk, cut the bandage, and use the gauze on the wound. Once the bandage is finished, move the sleeve back up before leaving the office. Jump into the car and drive to the Central District.

Enter the Police Station and walk up to Ulli's Office. He's not around, so snoop through his things to pass the time. He is such a nice guy that he won't care.
Apparently, Iris has disappeared, too. Better drive to the Residential District and speak to Ulli at the Kistners' House. Georgette doesn't seem anything like her mother. She also seems more interested in picking up Ulli than finding out who killed her stepfather.
Recheck the bureau. Check the bills on the bottom near the wrench, more bills on the left side, the map in the upper area of the center section, and the small wooden button next to the can at the bottom. Press it a few times to open the drawer, then open the side of the drawer to find a hidden compartment. Inside, we discover a sparkplug. Why would that be hidden?
Go to the garage, pop the car's hood, and examine it to find it is missing a spark plug. Place it inside, tighten it, and watch the sparks fly. Why did it spark out when the car wasn't running? Give Ulli the spark plug and watch as connecting it opens a secret passage.
Tap the tumblers to find the correct order to unlock the door.

Search the small room to find a book in the second drawer. Give the document to Ulli. Could he have been attacked over the key to the deposit box? Search the mechanic's pit again to see if Anna can find it.
Give Ulli the key we just found, then back out of the garage and the house. Get into Anna's Car to drive back to the Central District. Stroll to the Boulevard, then left to the Red Light District.
Collectable available: The Blue Angel
Walk upstairs to find Ulli's suspect. Search through his things for anything that helps the case.
Oh, look, there are more photos of Georgette. Is she more than just an ex-girlfriend? Check the wardrobe on the left side of the area, move the raincoat, and check the pockets. The Browning is an exciting find, as is the missing button—which happens to match a button found at the crime scene. Give the possible murder weapon to Ulli, then show Francisco the photos. Enter the bathroom and snoop around a bit more.
Return to the main room and hand the knife to Ulli. It does not look good for Francisco. Casually walk out of the Red Light District, jump into Anna's car and drive to the hospital. No nurses are around, so look around the desk to learn where Hienz's Ward is.
Collectable available: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
Please place the book back on the desk next to the reception sign. After that, proceed to the second floor, where you will find Noah sleeping on the job. Of course, this led to a new death. Anna struggles not to change the killer, but it seems she cannot resist the temptation. This time, we need to solve a neat interactive comic. Drag the panels to the correct order, then press the play button. Be cautious not to kill Anna because it doesn't take much to do so.

Bojan's Wrath
Back in the dark room, search the tub area to find a way to remove the chains.
The Powder Compact brings up new memories of a firefight. Take the weapon from Ulli, then open fire at the window when you see Bojan appear. This fight has no pattern, so don't worry if you need to try a few times before succeeding. After several successful shots, Anna needs to find the medkit. If reporters were expected to do this type of field research, I wonder if many modern journalists would take these risks.
Give the Medkit to Ulli, then search around once Anna is on the second floor of the Swiss Federal Railways building. Tap the man in the chair to examine the wounds on the face and chest to learn he expired before the police arrived. Check the nearby desk for clues to help discover why this happened.
Hand Ulli the phone number so they can learn who it belongs to, then return to the street to Boulevard to search for additional clues.
Snap a photo of the destruction left after the encounter, then give the pendant to Ulli. Constable Milton will provide him with another clue. Take the paper from Ulli, which contains instructions written in Morse code. Without experience of what each series of dots represents, there is no way to decipher the message. Return inside the Control Room and search around again for something to help learn what it means.
Place the alphabet note on the desk so Anna (you) can decipher the code. Tap the message to mark the code with a checkmark, then tap the corresponding letter on the right. Tap the tabs on the left side of the notebook to cycle through the pages to access all the letters in the alphabet.

Leave the building and backtrack to the Police Station. Once you enter, Anna will offer to help identify the fingerprints. By now, you should be a pro at this mini-game, having encountered it enough times.

Now that we have a name that matches the fingerprints, we can head upstairs and find Ulli. He is off to catch up with the suspicious train. Check the room for the file.

After reading about Bojan's history, place the file folder back on the desk (it will not let you leave with it), which will snap Anna out of her memory.
The Game
Anna is back in the dark room, and flies are now filling it. Start by searching the far wall, but Anna needs something to open the board. Check the plate on the floor and allow the prisoner to take a bite of the hard bread and apple before backing away from the food. Examine the back wall again and use the fork to open the board. Hit it several times to snap it open and discover the scene on the other side.
Anna now remembers her investigation with Ulli in Iris's office. Although we already know what happened, she has gone missing. Search the office for any hint of what happened.
Collectable available: Dr. Mabuse the Gambler
Pass the bloody earring to Ulli, examine the footprints, snap a picture, and then return to the art gallery's hall. Check this area for more clues.
Collectable available: Nosferatu
Drop the pouch into Ulli's waiting hand, then back out to the Plaza. Avoid the train as you turn right down the pathway, then knock on the Cabaret door only for the story to come full circle back to the dark room again.
Search the remains through the broken board again to get the hairpin. Use the hairpin to start picking the padlock. To pick the lock successfully, time your tap so the moving yellow line on the top is within the green area. It gets smaller and starts moving as you go, so expect it to take a few tries. Once free of the chain, search the bathtub area for something Anna can use to defend herself.
Thanks to the chair, Anna can dive deeper into the sewers to make her escape. Once in the entrance room, search the nearby cart for something to pull the ladder down so she can escape.
Use the Gaff to pull the ladder down, only to learn someone is coming. Examine the locker and pull the metal on the latch to allow Anna to hide and end the chapter.
