Besides the excitement of living in a new home, does anyone like moving? It's even worse when you don't even have a choice, like our heroes.
I knew that Claire and Valda were going to end up together in some endgame plot, but the way it was done was... absolutely predictable. Since we knew the "Borg" soldiers he had in the other universe, it was only fitting he would do the same thing here. What was annoying was the way they used Claire for it. With her being so ungodly powerful, couldn't she have just destroyed it with her powers, or kill Valda? Yeah, I know this series hasn't played well with the idea that things are handled intelligently, but it still makes me cringe.
At least once the home invasion was all set up, the episode was an exhilarating ride until the end. With the threat of being unemployed at stake, they fought amazingly. Sure, there were flaws, but even those kept the story entertaining. Now, maybe if things like this were the normal for the series, this wouldn't be the second-last episode.
I can only imagine how much damage this would also do to the U.S / China relationship. Just the knowledge that the U.S. is hiding a secret base full of powerful items would be enough to start an "international incident". It's probably a good thing the series will be over before that has a chance to become a new storyline.
With how exciting the episode was - with the epic fights and the ending - this really should have been the season finale. It had everything it needed, until they revealed that silly cliffhanger. Couldn't the series just get a happy ending? Now it looks like Warehouse 13 will end with the end of Warehouse 13. I guess if someone else ever picks it up (yeah, right) we will get a new name out of it. But, who knows, maybe they will somehow save the warehouse yet again. Yeah, I doubt it.
But where should the Warehouse move too? Other than China and the United States, which other country has the resources to protect it? Maybe they can hide it somewhere in the Canadian polar region or something.
