Lost Girl: It's Better to Burn Out Than Fae Away Review:
Bo Feels The Burn of Betrayal.
By Tyler Olson
Bo just can't seem to catch a break. After Lauren and Bo finally seemed to be reaching the point where they actually spent more time together, the Ash-hole shows up and drags her away. The worst part was it was the love of another the allowed this to happen.
How could Lauren hide something that big from her friends, especially Bo. All she had to do was to ask and Bo could have found a way to help her, but instead she left without explaining why and let Bo learn the truth from the Morrigan. What a bad way to leave someone who loves her hanging. Bo has some information that could help her now, but after what she was put through, I can't blame her if she holds it back.
The case this week seemed like a setup right from the beginning. I am sure it had something to do with the Dark Fae's reputation of being backstabbers, although this case seemed even more so. The Morrigan's Seniatta, Bianca, was way too guilty looking right from the first time she was introduced. It shouldn't have taken Bo so long to figure out that she had something to hide, but this is the Faye, and they all seem to have something to hide.
At the beginning it appeared that the Morrigan was trying to lure Bo over to the dark side again, but instead she pushed her even further away. Are they toying with her on purpose, or do they think that they can slowly corrupt her?
I am a bit disappointed with this episode. There were barely any funny scenes, and the story just didn't pull me in like many of the others did this season. I hope that once Bo clears up the Nadia business with Lauren, things can get back on track again.
- The Morrigan is a Leanan Sidheand named Evony Fluerette Marquise.
- A Leanan Sidheand makes an artist great, then feeds off their genius.
- A Seniatta has the power to alter the inner motivations of humans.
- Hale's whistle can even cure a hangover... he must be very popular after parties.
- Hale won't marry Kenzi because she drinks too much.
