After what happened to Slade, Mirakuru was obviously some very nasty stuff, but that still didn't prepare us for what happened to Roy this week.

Thanks to all that loss of blood, the rage drug turned that poor boy into a walking machine of vengeance. Sure, I guess you can say that Slade is one too, but he at least appears to be in control of his actions. Obviously they need to get that cure, and fast.

There was one common link between Roy and Slade, though – besides their anger issues. Why are they seeing ghosts of their lovers and why are those ghosts telling them to do bad things? It would be one thing if those former lovers were bad people, but they were quite the opposite. I'm starting to wonder if Mirakuru isn't really just a drug, but more like an evil viral entity, or allowing them to see a spectral one. Maybe it's like some kind of Venom.

The Roy you remember is gone, only evil remains.

Well, whatever it is, it sure did a number on Oliver and his group. A busted knee was bad, Sara leaving was worse, but Moira was devastating. If this was a few episodes ago when everyone hated her, it wouldn't have been so bad, but everyone was just starting to like her again. Plus, she even revealed that "she knew". I guess she wasn't that bad of a mother after all.

Too bad that Moira didn't get to tell her children about Malcolm before the whole Slade ultimatum, though. I am sure that he will show his face soon, especially after the news of Moira's death hits the international news agencies. Who knows, maybe Malcolm will turn out to be a new father-figure / ally in the next season.

We also learnt that Oliver has a child out there in the world. I think it's a pretty safe bet that this secret will haunt him in the future. Who knows, maybe the child and the mother will be some wicked allies. We were never given a name, so it's even possible that we've met her already.

Isn't it great when a mother thinks her son would be a horrible father?

I don't understand why Sara is leaving, though. Why leave Oliver at a time when he needs her the most? I know she's fighting some dark demons inside, but she should have at least stayed to fight Slade. Maybe the news of Slade's attack will bring her back, or her "friend" will give her a helping hand. Could this bring the League of Shadows back?

Speaking of help, why isn't A.R.G.U.S. helping Oliver with Slade? They obviously knew about him, but yet they are letting him rip Starling City to pieces. The city could definitely use a little Suicide Squad right about now.

At this point, I don't know what is going to hurt more: the loss of Moira or Sara. Moira will likely push Oliver toward an even more noble future, much like Tommy did last season, and Sara can always return to make things right, but, for now, they will both tear him apart.
