You'll first be introduced to him as "Miner In Training," the easily startled miner working in the north west vein on the 2nd level of the Malga Mine. He seems to be the youngest miner of the group, especially from his comments that he hasn't had a girlfriend yet... or is he? There is something odd about this miner.

His real name is Lyall, and he is definitely not a mine. You will later find him in the company of Josette.
